Elegant bouquet of red cherry, violet and plum, enriched by notes of spice, leather and balsamic hints.

Structured and well-balanced, with firm yet refined tannins, a savoury freshness, and a long, persistent finish.

Grape Variety: 100% Sangiovese
Vinification: Red wine vinification with hand-harvested grapes, carefully selected in the vineyard.
Maceration: At a temperature of 18–20°C, the must remains in contact with the skins for 18–25 days, depending on the vintage and grape quality.
Aging: 24 months overall, of which at least 12 months in oak barrels and a further period in bottle before release.

Vineyard

Region: Selected hillside vineyards in Romagna.
Soil: Predominantly clay and limestone with good mineral content.
Training System: Trellis system with a planting layout designed for optimal ripening.
Pruning: Spur-pruned cordon / Guyot.
Harvest Period: Typically late September to early October, depending on climatic conditions.
Yield per Hectare: Approximately 6–7 tonnes per hectare.
